I fell in love with Polish stoneware when I was gifted my first piece from Jan, a family friend. I was struck by the heft and quality of the design and finish. I learned that each piece requires the work of many artists. From the molder, to the artist who applies the stamps and paints the designs, to the glazer, many hands produce each product. Each piece is then sent to fire in the kiln.
You really come to appreciate the quality of Polish pottery when you hold it in your hands. This stoneware is very durable, and can go from oven to the table, then into the fridge and freezer. The pottery is designed beautifully, decorated meticulously, and lasts a long time. The designs are intricate and beautiful as well. There is a piece for anyone’s design preference. Polish Pottery does not go out of style.

Artistic Polish Pottery carries ceramic products from 5 factories: Ceramika Artystyczna, Manufaktura, Andy, Vena and Galia. We offer Traditional pieces and Signature pieces are signed by the artist.
Since the Seventh Century, the Boleslawiec region of Poland has been a pottery center. The distinctive designs are hand-crafted and are characterized by their colorful “eye of the peacock’s tail” motif, meticulously hand-stamped using sea sponges that are carefully cut with small scissors to reach the best detail. Signature pieces are then initialed or signed by the artist. The resources of the land in Boleslawiec are used to make this lovely stoneware. The result is microwave, dishwasher freezer and oven-safe stoneware that is as functional as it is collectible.
